Beginning April 1, Jackson County REMC will implement a $5 increase to the Basic Service Charge across all account types. This change represents the main portion of the overall rate adjustment and helps cover the fixed costs required to deliver reliable electric service, including system maintenance, equipment, technology, and 24/7 outage response. This approach allows us to keep the overall rate change balanced while continuing to provide safe and dependable service to our members. Any changes to kWh rates can be viewed by selecting your specific rate type below, where each rate is listed separately.

Members can reduce the impact of this change by enrolling in paperless billing and receiving a $2 monthly bill credit. If you are already signed up for paperless billing, the credit will automatically be applied. (Bill credits start 4/1/2026 and are per the account that you have signed up for paperless billing)
