Your electric cooperative is offering a 2026 residential rebate for qualifying equipment (water heaters, geothermal heat pumps and air source, ductless mini-split or dual fuel heat pumps). To qualify, you must occupy the home where the equipment is installed year-round (12 months) and unit must heat and cool the whole home, unless otherwise stated. Please provide the following documents to your electric cooperative to apply for possible rebates: Fill out the appropriate Rebate Application above (green box) AHRI (Air conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute) certificate for validation of all SEER ratings. (This can be obtained from the installing heating and cooling contractor.) Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

Jackson County REMC provides cash incentives to help businesses purchase and install electric energy-saving equipment.  The incentives are available to all businesses, regardless of the number of employees.  These programs help you more effectively manage energy use and lessen the impact of increasing power costs.  We can offer these programs to reduce the demand for power at a much lower cost than building new power plans. This form contains applications for the installation of energy-efficient lighting, and motors.  A custom application is also included for those measures that do not fit into any of these categories.  A custom compressed air application is available on another form.  Please contact us for that specific application.

Limit one rebate per member-consumer account per year. Rebate does not apply to equipment combo packs. Equipment purchased must be new and have a minimum one-year warranty. Reconditioned or refurbished equipment is not eligible. Completed rebate application and documentation must be received within 90 days of purchase date. Rebates for qualifying purchase are the lesser of $50 or 50% of purchase price. The cooperative has the right to deny rebate if terms and conditions are not met.

HVAC Tune-Up

Up to $50

To Qualify:
  • HVAC unit must be located in a home served by Jackson County REMC 
  • Unit must be 3 or more years old and not have an existing preventative maintenance contract or agreement. 
  • The tune-up must be performed by a licensed HVAC contractor with itemized receipt. 
  • Submission for rebates must be within 90 days of tune-up service in the same calendar year. 
  • One rebate per member account per calendar year. 
  • Approved rebates will be returned to the customer in the form of a check by mail via the U.S. Postal Service. 
  • Rebate participation is subject to funding availability. First come, first served applications until funding is exhausted.
